Laval-sur-le-Lac
Laval-sur-le-Lac is a residential neighbourhood in the city of Laval, Quebec, located on the western tip of Île Jésus near the Lake of Two Mountains.
This upscale neighbourhood is distinguished by its majestic houses1.
It is bordered to the east by Sainte-Dorothée and Laval West.
Laval-sur-le-Lac is a neighbourhood that stands out for its high rate of high-income earners. No other neighbourhood in the municipality is comparable to it in this respect. It is, however, the smallest neighbourhood in terms of population, with 766 inhabitants2.
The area, which is mostly residential, does have the Laval-sur-le-Lac golf course, the Montreal – Deux-Montagnes commuter train line, a ferry between Laval-sur-le-Lac and Île Bizard, the Centre Communautaire Des Chênes, the Laval-sur-le-Lac curling rink and the Saint-Jean-Gualbert church.
